What Should You Be Eating?

At every stage of life, eating patterns, behaviors, and preferences may change. The one thing that remains constant is the special attention we must pay to our nutrition and supplement intake as we age. Our eating patterns developed in the earliest stages of life may not be suitable to support a strong and healthy body in our 30s, 40s, and 50s.

Food is your best source of nutrients, but it can be hard to get all you need in the recommended amounts.1

“What to Eat in Your 30s, 40s, 50s and Beyond,”1 by Lynne Peeples, provides some helpful tips for those considering making adjustments to promote healthy aging. Peeples suggests cutting out unnecessary calories, carbs, and fats, increasing water intake, and overall being smart about considering the nutritional value of what we consume.
